About the Course
Are you interested in examining the education system and exploring the theories of how people learn throughout their lifespan? This course will open up a world often only seen by those who work in schools, colleges or with adult learners to give you a greater understanding of education.
You will be able to explore a wide range of issues including:
- How schools function in modern society
- Contemporary issues in education policy and practice
- How new technologies are influencing how we use information, communicate, teach and learn
- The relationship between learning systems, learners and learning
- Children's psychological development from infancy to adulthood
- The issues for children with special educational needs
