This new combined honours degree is ideal for students interested in a career as a Physical Education teacher.
Working in collaboration with the highly regarded School of Sport and Health Sciences, we have developed an outstanding combined honours degree. The programme will provide you with the Sport Sciences subject knowledge required to apply to a Secondary or Middle Years PGCE PE teacher training course. In addition, you will simultaneously gain valuable Education Studies subject knowledge, learning about the significant developments in Education and how students learn both in and out of the classroom – a strong advantage in preparing you for the demands of a PGCE training course. Students on course for a 2.2 or better will be guaranteed an interview with our own PGCE PE programme.
