Course preparation
The following texts are required reading for this course, although students may decide to omit one of the three longest novels: Bleak House, Little Dorrit or Our Mutual Friend. The recommended editions for the first five books are from the Penguin Classics series (not to be confused with Penguin Popular Classics) and recent or older editions of these will be fine. Alternatively, Oxford World’s Classics are also suitable.
