QTS Skills Test Centre
Passing the skills tests in literacy, numeracy and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is one of the standards that all trainee teachers in England have to meet before they can be recommended for the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by their provider of initial teacher training.
ID Requirements
You need to take TWO pieces of identification to the test centre to show to the test centre administrator as proof of identity.
Piece 1
The first must be an official ID which contains your photograph, name and signature and is included on the following list:
- Passport
- Photo driving licence
- Student card/Student Union card (Exeter University Cards are not acceptable due to the lack of signature)
NB: If any of the above DO NOT have your photograph, name and signature on / are not in date, then they will NOT be considered valid.
Piece 2
The second must include your name and signature. ID that has your photo, name and signature but is not included in the list above can only be accepted as your second piece of ID requiring your name and signature. Both pieces of ID must be valid and in date.
