Degree Programmme Structure
Our programmes have an increasingly flexible structure as you progress through the three years.
In the first year you take only core modules, some specific to your particular single degree programme and some common to both single degree programmes.
In the second year you again take some core modules specific to your particular single degree programme and some common to both single degree programmes, but can also select from a number of optional modules, giving you the freedom to choose the areas of study of most interest to you. You can also join the University's Flexible Combined Honours Degree programme, which allows you to select modules from other University Schools and Departments like History, Politics and Psychology.
In the third year you take some core modules common to both single degree programmes, but the majority of modules you select from a number of optional modules, giving you the freedom to specialise further.
- You can see this in detail in our tabular degree programme structure.
Programme Requirement
Offers for these programmes will be conditional upon students completing an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) disclosure, which is deemed satisfactory. Further details of the process and procedures can be found at www.exeter.ac.uk/crb
