The Secondary Programme
The Secondary PGCE programme equips you to teach your specialist subject at Key Stage 3 and 4. The programme is designed to meet your individual needs and interests, and most trainees will also be equipped to teach at post-16. Dependent upon your degree subject, you can choose to teach:
The Modern Foreign Language and Physical Education courses offer an additional option, where you can select Key Stage 2 Primary education training in your specialist subject instead of the post-16 training.

All coursework is designed to provide engaging and varied opportunities for you to develop the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
