The First Thinking School !

Congratulations go to all the staff and pupils at Ditton Church of England Primary School in Halton, Cheshire, who have become the first officially recognised Thinking School in the UK.

In early March the school’s ‘thinking’ practices were evaluated by Professor Bob Burden from the Cognitive Education Centre at Exeter University. Impressed by the commitment of the whole school and the successful adoption of a number of thinking programmes, well embedded within the school’s curriculum, Ditton was awarded Thinking School Status.
