His work on reflective journals and writing difficulties has influenced curriculum reform and teaching practices in higher education institutions throughout the region.
Dr. Ahmed’s publications appear in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Reflective Practice, Ampersand, Linguistics & Education, Language Awareness, Social Sciences & Humanities Open and edited volumes on feedback in L2 writing. He has co-edited influential books such as “Feedback in L2 English Writing in the Arab World: Inside the Black Box” (Palgrave Macmillan), and regularly presents at international conferences on applied linguistics, writing assessment, and educational technology.
In addition to research, Dr. Ahmed is deeply committed to student-centered pedagogy, academic mentoring, and curriculum innovation. He has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research, led professional development workshops for educators, and actively participates in interdisciplinary collaborations to advance educational excellence.
