Dr Beth Curtis (she/her)

I joined the University of Exeter in March 2025 as a project officer with the 'Curriculum for Change' team before being appointed to the role of Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the School of Education where I work on the ESRC-funded project Writing Tasks at School and University. 

I have twenty years of experience working in the education sector, predominately in Further Education where I was most recently Programme Leader for the PGCE (FE) course. 

My research interests focus on assessment, writing, teacher development, creative methodologies and the uses and place of the arts in education.

I hold a PhD in Education. My thesis explored student and teacher experiences of assessment in A Level Drama.
