I am a political sociologist of education, with a PhD from the University of Sussex. My research delves into how the identities of students, researchers, academics, teachers, and other educational actors are shaped by class, gender, racism, knowledge, and other dimensions of inequality and power. I have a particular interest in the internationalisation of higher education, the identities and knowledge practices of early career researchers and academics, and how various discourses influence education policies and impact diverse educational experiences of inequalities and equity, power, empowerment, and domination in schools and universities.
