Postgraduate Researcher
School of Education

I am a PhD researcher in the School of Education, working on an interdisciplinary doctoral project. My research focuses on young people’s mental health, particularly during periods of transition and uncertainty, with specific attention to anxiety. I am especially interested in how experiences of uncertainty and transition may shape young people’s self-concept and sense of meaning in life. My doctoral research adopts a mixed-methods design, combining longitudinal quantitative approaches with qualitative inquiry. My work is informed by a critical realist framework and draws on existential perspectives to better understand lived experiences during developmental transitions. I am open to discussion, collaboration, and methodological exchange.
