Jason is a practitioner and educator specialising in cognitive psychology and mental health / wellbeing, with a particular interest in the delivery of mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) and related outcomes. During his PhD, Jason focused on interactions between attention, arousal, and various dispositional / state measures. Jason also focused on the application of specific MBIs, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), in relation to attention and wellbeing. Jason draws on a range of experimental research methods to examine specific cognitive processes and psychological outcomes, and has recently been exploring the the application of interventions and brief inductions within the educational context.

 

Jason is a BAMBA-registered mindfulness teacher (MBCT) and psychological practitioner specialising in brief interventions and has applied his training within the NHS, educational settings, charitable organisations, and psychological services. Jason continues to work with individuals on a 1:1 and group basis and works actively with charitable organisations in the design and delivery of wellbeing events in the community.
