Professor Nicola Galloway

Nicola Galloway is Professor of Applied Linguistics, with a specialisation in sociolinguistics and language teaching research.

Nicola started her teaching career in Japanese schools before completing an MSc in TESOL in 2005. She then moved into teaching in higher education, while completing a PhD in Modern Languages from The University of Southampton. The focus of her PhD was on language attitudes in relation to the globalisation of English.
