Wuwei (Vivian) Ye (She/Her)
Postgraduate Researcher
School of Education
I am a PhD candidate at School of Education (SoE). My research interests broadly lie in the intersection of sociolinguistics and education, particularly, multilingualism, identity, language education, and study abroad. My doctoral research investigates the multilingual identity development of Chinese international students studying abroad in the UK through longitudinal narrative inquiry.
Additionally, I teach (MLM1052) Beginners Chinese as a Postgraduate Teaching Associate (PTA) at Foreign Language Center (FLC). I am enthusiastic about teaching both English and Mandarin to speakers of other languages.
Apart from my research and teaching, I also enjoy working as an Exeter Student Ambassador for Student Recruitment Operations (SROps) and a PG Event Officer at Exeter Student Guild.
