Professional Development for Teachers

The Australian Primary English Teachers Association is running a course, developed by the Centre for Research in Writing and drawing on our research.

It addresses how to develop ‘writing talk’ in the classroom, supporting students in being able to explain and discuss the language choices they make in their own writing, and the choices other writers make. The course is wholly online and you can do it at your own pace (and in your own timezone).
