Overview
My career in education began at the Centre for Science Education, part of Chelsea College - University of London.
I taught and was head of year at an ilea secondary school and then in an off site unit before training as an educational psychologist at the Insititue of Education - University of London.
I worked firstly for Lambeth EPS and then as part of the management team in Sothwark EPS where I was also a honorary lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry.
I moved to the Exeter in 2000 where I first worked as an Academic and Professional Tutor for two years before taking on the Programme Director role in 2002.

Career
I have worked as a contracts manager for British Telecommunications, then an HM Inspector of Factories before training as a secondary school science teacher.
Since 2000 I have been working at the University of Exeter and the professional training course in educational psychology.
