Doctoral programmes
As a doctoral level student you will become part of a research-intensive Graduate School, studying with some of the leading scholars in their disciplines.
Our international community of researchers has an excellent record of winning external funding, and our research centres provide structure and support, promoting collaboration and impact.
- Centre for Research in Professional Learning
- Centre for Research in Writing
- Centre for Research in STEM Education (CRISTEME)
- Centre for Special Educational Needs and Disability
- The Centre for Social Mobility
We also nurture a number of smaller and less formal research networks, which augment and complement our larger centres.
The supervision process has been amazing. I have fantastic supervisors who are very supportive and have helped me along the way. The process of doing a PhD can be very lonely and isolating and having supervisors to check in with and discuss things with is essential.
