The Doctoral Research Forum

  • The learning and educational purpose of the Doctoral Research Forum (DRF) is to provide doctoral students with a participatory opportunity to practise their research presentation skills, debate issues in different educational and academic disciplines and take part in a wider learning community. The forum aims to bring in students and academics from all university departments and programmes.

  • The forum aims to meet about 6 times per academic year. Sessions are held at the Graduate School of Education

  • Contributors to the Doctoral Research Forum can add their presentations to their C.V.s.

  • Research presentations are a step towards academic publication.

  • Presenters will receive presentation certificates.


All research students who have collected and analysed their data are welcome to present their research at the DRF.
