We have a long history of involvement in the field of education and offer a wide range of postgraduate and teacher training programmes, online and on-campus, working with students from all over the world. You will be taught by passionate and experienced educators, involved in cutting-edge research which sits at the forefront of educational knowledge and closely informs their practice. Specialist expertise includes teacher training; technology in education; educational leadership and management; special educational needs; creative arts in education; language and literacy; teaching English to speakers of other languages; and educational psychology.

Postgraduate Research

A PhD in Education from the University of Exeter will enable you to gain an in-depth grounding in educational research methods through ESRC recognised training.

As an MPhil/PhD level student you will become part of a research-intensive School, studying with some of the leading scholars in their disciplines.
